The privacy of your data — and it is your data, not ours! — is a big deal to us. In this policy, we lay out: what data we collect and why; how your data is handled; and your rights to your data. We promise we never sell your data: never have, never will.
Our guiding principle is to collect only what we need. Here’s what that means in practice:
When you sign up for Inspect we ask for only the most important information. We typically ask for identifying information such as your name, email address, and maybe a company name. That’s just so you can personalize your new account, and we can send you invoices, updates, or other essential information.
When you sign up: We use Clerk to manage user authentication, and social sign in, so your name and email address is stored with Clerk.
Addtionally we use Intercom for customer support, and to send you email for product updates and such. You can unsubscribe at any time you'd like.
When you use Inspect: We use Posthog to understand how our app is used; which features should we work to improve, and if users encounter any bugs.
When you buy a subscription: We use Stripe to manage payments and subscriptions. When you buy a subscription Stripe collects your customer information, billing details and creditcard information. This data never hits Inspect servers.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding our privacy policy don't hesitate to contact us at hello@inspect.dev.
